My 21 year old was diagnosed  this summer. He had some severe  bruising  and fatigue. He was fortunate to have caught it early in the diease and after 2 months on TKIs is almost in “remission”. He has responded  brilliantly to Nilotinib.
It is still a devastating diagnoses to get at 21, but we are thankful to have treatment options. He is lucky to have the amazing Oncologists at OHSU Knight Cancer Center on his team.
